Here are a few drawings I have done. If you look under the working with compositions section you can see my thought process when it comes to developing a drawing into the beginning of a painting. Drawing is a fundamental skill when it comes to creating artwork, and for me, I think this is very true as it allows for a time of observation and quiet reflection as I begin to "know" my subject in a new way.  Be it the way light and shadows falling in the forest at the end of the day, or? The possibilities are endless.
