People have asked me where I take my ideas from...sometimes it can be a walk in the woods, afternoon at the beach or that special place inside.  The pictures I have drawn or painted represent nature in one form of another and come from somewhere inside.  I believe in waiting for the image to emerge from the canvas, as most times I no longer start with an image in mind.

 

I have been drawing and painting ever since I can remember. There is no real documentation of this process as I traveled all around the world, things got lost, sold off or simply disappeared. Late in 2018 I came to Canada and when Covid hit I was completely blocked, in a creative black hole.  In 2021 I started up again, little by little with a focus on being true to myself and where the process is leading. A little further on down the page you will find a link to 2021,2022,2023 and earlier. Under that you will see the Gallery for this year (2024)...sometimes the paintings will shift throughout the year, as i pick them up and re-work them....... I hope you enjoy the collection.
